How they compare
Questions teachers ask
Does Verbios find me students? expand_more
Not yet. Verbios is built for teachers who already have their own students, or who are building that side themselves. A marketplace for finding new students is coming soon, but it isn't live today.
Can I bring my existing materials over? expand_more
If your course content lives in Edvibe, ReadyTo, Miro, or another platform, our import tools move it into Verbios, embedded content included. italki doesn't have a course builder to import from, so you'd start fresh there too, and Verbios's block editor is built for exactly that.
What does Verbios cost? expand_more
The full course editor is free. Starter is $17.50/mo with a 7-day trial (75 self-paced students, 15 live students you bring yourself). Pro is $59/mo for larger rosters. No commission on either paid tier for students you bring yourself.
What if I want to use both? expand_more
Many teachers do. Keep your italki profile for discovery, and run the students you teach independently on Verbios for the live classroom, homework, and course tools. Just mind italki's own rules about students you meet there.
