What's new.

A running log of the features we've shipped for teachers, most recent first.

September 2026

Details for past lessons

Past lessons in your calendar now show their details and recorded status instead of asking you to cancel them.

Clearer lesson links in the ledger

Lesson entries in the student ledger now link directly from the lesson date and time. The separate session title, ID and timezone line has been removed.

Explicit cancellation choices and per-lesson statuses

Teachers can distinguish student late cancellation, teacher late cancellation with compensation, and cancellation without a credit charge. Credits follow the configured percentage, and corrections reverse the previous adjustment. Status changes always apply to one lesson; only other edited fields can update a recurring series.

Open submissions with their assignment in view

Grading links now open the correct written or audio essay review on desktop, tablet, and phone. The review window shows the assignment prompt above the student's submission, with feedback and grading controls alongside it.

Reliable dashboard shortcuts

Homework shortcuts from the dashboard now open without getting stuck in repeated navigation. Student profiles keep their full panel size while loading, with a translated loading message.

Telegram reminders and vocabulary practice nudges

Choose email, Telegram, both, or in-app only for your reminders. Payment reminders contain your teacher’s message with a clear attribution, without the Verbios signature. Telegram now has buttons to manage notification types. Vocabulary reminders arrive when words need practice and you have not practiced that day, with Telegram enabled automatically when you connect it.

Your teaching day at a glance

The new teacher dashboard brings upcoming sessions, teaching statistics, and items that need your attention into one place. Open a session, confirm a past lesson, or send a payment reminder directly from the relevant item. The Management section keeps your day-to-day tools together, while the Submissions queue now includes all types of homework and opens the exact work that needs review. Essay feedback opens alongside the student's writing so you can review and edit your comments in context before sending them. You can also turn on a cancellation policy in your teacher profile, with a free cancellation window and optional compensation rules. Students can see your policy and their lesson and payment history; cancellation records do not automatically collect payments or change lesson balances.

Clearer session outcomes and lesson history

Ending a live session now asks you to choose its outcome using the same statuses as the calendar. Lesson credit deductions identify the session and its scheduled date, including when you confirm older lessons. We also fixed profile photos on the teacher dashboard, removed the repeated session status label, and cleaned up legacy currency symbols so income totals display correctly.

Clearer payment notification settings

Payment reminders remain available in notification settings and Telegram. Removed payment requests from these controls and hidden failed-payment notifications while platform payments are unavailable.

A clearer student payment journal

Payment and lesson-balance entries can now be edited in the same form used to add them, including the number of lessons attached to a payment. Entries can also be deleted safely: they disappear from the journal and their lesson and payment effects are reversed while the underlying audit history is retained. Student profiles now open immediately from the roster with the student’s name and photo visible, showing a loader in the profile body while the remaining details arrive.
